Natalie & All Her Hair Clips

One day last week Natalie decided she wanted mommy to put all her hair clips in at the same time. Here's the results. She was happy to model them off for the camera.

First Snowman

Here are pictures of the kids first snowman. Natalie was having a great time, but as you can tell Brandon wasn't too into making a snowman. He was more interested in going to the mailbox. (He loves to open and close the mailbox and raise and lower the flag.)

Rolled Up Natalie

I thought this was a cute picture. Daddy rolled Natalie up in an exercise mat. She thought it was fun, but had a hard time walking around. She fussed when we took her out!

And More Snow

Here is a picture from last Thursday. It's snowed AGAIN since then. Thankfully it is warming up and was in the 30's today! Much better than the near zero degree weather we've been having. I read in the paper today it's supposed to make it up into the forty's later this week! It may be warm enough to finally take the kids out and play in the snow now. Shhhhhh....don't tell them I told you that! :-)

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! Grandma sent the kids CARS valentines that came with tattoos. Brandon couldn't wait to put the "stickers" on as he called them. So I tattooed the kids up and down their arms this morning, because they couldn't stop with just one or two tattoos. I had them pose for me so you can see how much they enjoyed them! Snowed In

Well we got a good dumping of snow Tuesday and on into Wednesday. If the snow itself wasn't bad enough we have winds up to 30 mph causing all that snow to blow around. It looks like most of it is over now, but I'm sure the snow will stay around for a while with these cold temperatures we are having. Thought I would post a couple of pictures of how it looked this morning when Brent was out shoveling. We have had a 2 or 3 more inches drop since then.

Storytime at the Library

Today was the kids first story time at the library. We are scheduled to go every Wednesday for a couple of months. The theme for today was Music. Before story time they made shakers out of paper plates and beans. The kids had a pretty good time, but were a little cautious with so many other kids around. I think after they go a couple of times they will get more "into" it. Natalie did a great job with the craft and with story time, but we all know how much she LOVES books anyway. Brandon didn't really want to sit still, but it seemed like the other two boys that were there didn't want to either. Is it a boy thing?? I don't know, but I do know that Brandon's 2 year molars are starting to come in and I have a suspicion that that had something to do with it. I noticed that he had been drooling a lot on Sunday so I asked the doctor on Monday about his teeth and she said it looked like his 2 year molars were trying to come through. Let's hope they come through without TOO much trouble!

2 Year Check Up

The kids had their two year check up this morning. The doctor said they were doing great and right on track. Natalie was in the 70th percentile for her height and 50th percentile for her weight. Brandon was 40th percentile for both height and weight. The doctor said they have both gained weight right on track as they should have done since their last appointment. Better yet...no shots this time! Our next scheduled appointment will be their 3 year check up. I thank God for their continual good health. The Lord has brought them a long way since they were teeny tiny newborns!
